I woke up feeling optimistic today. As I wandered around getting ready for the day, I thought, "You know what, I could really use a warm, sunny day sometime soon. Maybe today is my day."
And then the universe had a good chuckle, and I stepped out into this.
So in terms of the weather, perhaps today is not my day. But in other ways the sky is starting to clear, and all the good things in life are becoming a little more obvious.

I can only assume what your loss is and I'm so sorry for you guys. I hope tomorrow is sunny. On the bright side (pun intended :D) today isn't as gray as yesterday. The snow makes it so much lighter now.

I don't know what your loss is, but I'm happy to hear things are looking up. I'm always amazed at how terrible things seem, there always comes a day when life seems bearable again.

sometimes falling off the face of the earth is the only way and i'm glad that you didn't apologize for it. i can't begin to understand what you're experiencing, but our thoughts and prayers are with you and shay.

Better late than never. I agree with the comment above that stated "sometimes falling off the face of the earth is the only way". Take your time with what you are going through. Don't let anyone make you feel bad for not "moving on" or "getting over it" please take it at your own pace and make sure to take care of yourself. I love you and I'm always here for you!
Sorry to hear about your hard times, Alexis. We have been thinking about you both a lot lately. I don't understand why things happen sometimes, but know that your in our thoughts and prayers.
