Cheerio to Tom, who is leaving the country this week and will be living in Japan for the rest of the school year. His imminent departure was the reason for this weekend’s revelry in Kansas City – not that we wanted to celebrate the fact that he is going away for a very long time (wink, wink), but we did want to send him off well.
